Kebnekaise is the highest mountain in Sweden where you can find snow all through the summer. This 2096 m high mountain gives you the most amazing views. Glaciers, mountain rivers, snowy peaks, and stunning views are the first that will give you the most amazing experiences.
In this 6-day adventurous hike, you will wander around Kebnekaise peak, and when it's the right time and the weather allows you will climb up there. To almost catch the sky and look at Scandinavia from the top.

Program
Day 1 Day 2-5 We gather in Kiruna, Norrbotten, Sweden. There you will be picked up and transferred to the start of the hike. You can also be picked up from other nearby airports (Gällivare, Arvidsjaur, Luleå).
There is time to repack and get all things organized before we head out and spend the first night in the wild.
Hiking to and around Kebnekaise. When the weather is suitable we will climb up to the top.
Day 6
We will arrive back to Kiruna and say farewell!

How long is the expedition? |
It's up to 100 km all together. |
What will I be eating? | We will have a variety of hiking food. Both vegan and meat are available. Please let us know with special requests. |
Where shall I sleep? | We will spend the nights outdoors in tents. Note that your sleeping gear is not included in the price. |
Do I need special mountain gear? |
No, the trail is suitable with average hiking gear.

Is it going to be cold or warm? | Both. It can be from +15C in the daytime to below minus degrees at nighttime and on top of Kebnekaise. |
Can I do it? | We will take it easy, but always keep in mind - we will go up to the mountains and it can be challenging. |
Tips for your experience to be at its best:
- dress according to the weather;
- bring extra clothes to be able to change;
- wear comfortable footwear;
- bring mosquito repellent with you;
- your snacks to bring are recommended as this keeps the spirit high;
- note that it can snow at the higher points of mountains.
